Broken Chocolate Butterfly Plush Mini Lop...Say What? I have created this glossary to help you understand all of those confusing Rabbit Coat Terms!

 

Agouti: A particular pattern on a rabbit's coat, which is the same pattern as the wild rabbit.

Albino: Completely white with Pink or Ruby coloured eyes.

Blue: A beautiful slate grey colour.

Broken: A white rabbit with patches of colour; whether those patches be brown, blue, black etc.

Butterfly: The butterfly shaped pattern on a rabbit's nose.

Chinchilla: This coat is the grey version of the Agouti coat.

Fawn: A brown/burnt orange colour coat, with darker areas which appear as a 'sooty' colour.

Harlequin:  The Harlequin has the exact same patterning as the Magpie coat (descirbed below), but with burnt orange and blue colouring.But the Magpie and Harlequin coats are very difficult to breed perfectly.

Magpie: This coat has a patch-quilt like pattern with half the face white, half the face black, one front leg white, one front leg black, one back leg white and one back leg black. Also, the back has stripes of white and black across the back.

Sealpoint: A rabbit with colouring on certain parts of it's body, including the nose, ears, feet and tail, but with the rest of it's body and tummy white.

Smoke: A smokey grey coloured coat, but from the same colour group as the Sealpoint, and with he same pattering as the Sealpoint and Fawn groups.

Sable: Also from the same colour group as the Sealpoint, Fawn and Smoke, a deep chocolate colour, with darker areas. Siamese Sables turn lighter in colour throughout the year as they moult, and are considered the chameleon of the rabbit world.
